by combining lighting control, comfort control, security control, and entertainment into one integrated, but scalable and
flexible package.
The system can be centralized, or distributed, or a hybrid of both, offering the best network
for the application. Control stations are available in hundreds of styles and colors for all decors, and system reliability

Russound
Russound is a leader in whole house distributed audio control. This multi-room audio control system
allows the home owner to listen to different music in different rooms at the same time. The music is distributed from one
central location to any number of zones (rooms or room groups). Each room can have its own keypad to select the music source
and control volume, bass, treble, CD tracks, station presets, etc. Fully scalable to 36 zones, these control systems come
in packages for every application or budget. In recent years, Russound has added IPOD source control and music servers to
improve on a great system.
Russound has the option of adding paging throughout the home, either as a dedicated
system, or working in conjunction with the audio system. This paging is tied to the door entry.
Recently,
Russound has added the equivalent of audio distribution system with the addition of a video distribution system, again
as a stand alone unit or working in conjunction with the audio system.
They also offer several families of in-ceiling, in-wall,
and outdoor speakers to complete the product line.
From a reliability perspective, these products are bulletproof,
as is evidenced by their long warranty periods.

Boston Acoustics
Boston Acoustics is
a premier speaker manufacturer.
They were one of the first to package high-end 5.1 speakers for in-wall ,
in ceiling applications. Designed specifically to the sound dynamics of the corresponding in-wall enclosure
(back box), these speakers attain the performance of their stand-alone counterparts without sacrificing floor space or adding
unsightly wires. Wall cavity volume is not an issue in that the speaker has its own in -wall enclosure. Even the sub-woofers
can be wall-mounted, with the amplifier mounted remotely the A/V rack.

to audio components.
Integra designs and produces audio/video components specifically for the home theater
environment.

Escient
Escient manufactures a complete line of audio and video storage devices.
Music and movies can be ripped and stored electronically in their servers. Another option, particularly popular with large
DVD or BD libraries, is to store the discs in 200(BD) or 400(DVD) changers. The Escient controller selects your movie
choice from these changers. The 3 disc changer will allow you to store and access up to 1200 movies. Several different
selection screens are available to quickly locate your movie. This system is easily interfaced with a Vantage control system.

Gefen
Gefen
offers products that amplify, switch, and route various audio and video signals. We use their products to switch larger quantities of
HDMI signals than a receiver may be able to handle and to extend HDMI signals past the 50 foot range. Their newest product
allows us to send HDMI signals over standard coax cable up to1500 feet. Also useful are their extenders that allow us
to send HDMI signals over cat 5e or cat 6 cable.
